Royal Commissions Act 1902

Any person who practises any fraud or deceit, or intentionally makes or exhibits any statement, representation, token, or writing, knowing it to be false, to any person called or to be called as a witness before any Royal Commission with intent to affect the testimony of that person as a witness, or to any person given or to be given a notice under subsection 2(3C) with intent to affect the information or statement the person gives in response to the notice, commits an indictable offence.

Any person who practises any fraud or deceit, or intentionally makes or exhibits any statement, representation, token, or writing, knowing it to be false, to any person with intent that any person who is required to produce a document or other thing, or to give information or a statement, pursuant to a summons, requirement or notice under section 2 will not comply with the requirement, commits an indictable offence.
