17 Basis and period of appointment of all voting members
Part‑time basis
(1)
A voting member holds office on a part‑time basis.
Period of appointment
(2)
A voting member holds office for the period specified in his or her instrument of appointment. The period must not exceed 3 years.
Note:
The voting member may be reappointed: see section 33AA of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901.
