31 Breaching an Australian launch permit condition
Offence
(1)
A person commits an offence if:
(a)
the person is the holder of an Australian launch permit; and
(b)
the person does an act or omits to do an act; and
(c)
the act or omission contravenes a condition of the permit; and
(d)
the condition is a condition to which the permit is subject under paragraph 30(a), (b), (c) or (d).
Penalty:
(a)
for an individual—imprisonment for 10 years or 5,500 penalty units, or both; or
(b)
for a body corporate—100,000 penalty units.
Civil penalty
(2)
The holder of an Australian launch permit must not contravene a condition of the permit.
Civil penalty: 1,000 penalty units.
