22 Provision of false information
The operator of an aircraft must not, for a purpose connected with this Act, give information to an authorised person that is false or misleading in a material particular.
Penalty: 50 penalty units.
Note 1:
If the operator is a body corporate, the maximum penalty that may be imposed is 250 penalty units (see subsection 4B(3) of the Crimes Act 1914).
Note 2:
For the value of a penalty unit, see subsection 4AA(1) of the Crimes Act 1914.
