Explanation of runway names

The diagram below shows the runways at Sydney Airport.

(2)

The following runway names are used in this Act:

(a)

runway 16R—this is the name for the runway marked A when used for a take‑off to the south;

(b)

runway 34L—this is the name for the runway marked A when used for a landing from the south;

(c)

runway 16L—this is the name for the runway marked B when used for a take‑off to the south.
