Carriage service providers must give information to another person or association
11 Carriage service providers must give information to another person or association
This clause applies if a person or association is obliged by section 472 to provide and maintain an integrated public number database.
If:
a carriage service provider supplies a carriage service to an end‑user; and
the end‑user has a public number;
the carriage service provider must give the person or association such information as the person or association reasonably requires in connection with the person’s or association’s fulfilment of that obligation.
In this clause:
number has the same meaning as in Division 2 of Part 22.
public number means a number specified for use in connection with the supply of carriage services to the public in Australia (within the meaning of subsection 456(2)).
