279 Performance of person’s duties
Section 276 does not prohibit a disclosure or use by a person of information or a document if:
the person is an employee of:
a carrier; or
a carriage service provider; or
a telecommunications contractor; and
the disclosure or use is made in the performance of the person’s duties as such an employee.
Section 276 does not prohibit a disclosure or use by a person of information or a document if:
the person is a telecommunications contractor; and
the disclosure or use is made in the performance of the person’s duties as such a contractor.
Section 277 does not prohibit a disclosure or use by a person of information or a document if:
the person is an employee of:
a number‑database operator; or
a number‑database contractor; and
the disclosure or use is made in the performance of the person’s duties as such an employee.
