34 Matters the ACMA must have regard to
In deciding whether to vary or revoke a declaration of a protection zone, the ACMA must have regard to:
(b)
any submissions received from the public about the variation or revocation proposal; and
(c)
the legitimate commercial interests of:
(i)
the owner of each submarine cable in the protection zone; and
(ii)
if the carrier responsible for a cable in the protection zone is not the owner of the cable—that carrier; and
(d)
any other matters that the ACMA considers relevant.
