Register of nominated carrier declarations and carrier licences
84 Register of nominated carrier declarations and carrier licences
The ACMA is to maintain a Register in which the ACMA includes:
all nominated carrier declarations currently in force; and
all carrier licences currently in force; and
all conditions of such licences.
The Register may be maintained by electronic means.
A person may, on payment of the charge (if any) fixed by a determination under section 60 of the Australian Communications and Media Authority Act 2005:
inspect the Register; and
make a copy of, or take extracts from, the Register.
For the purposes of this section, if the Register is maintained by electronic means, a person is taken to have made a copy of, or taken an extract from, the Register if the ACMA gives the person a printout of, or of the relevant parts of, the Register.
If a person requests that a copy be provided in an electronic form, the ACMA may provide the relevant information:
on a data processing device; or
by way of electronic transmission.
