42ZCH Termination of appointment
(1)
The Minister may terminate an appointed member’s appointment on any of the following grounds:
(a)
physical or mental incapacity;
(b)
misbehaviour;
(c)
incompetence;
(d)
bankruptcy;
(e)
failing to comply with the disclosure of interest requirements mentioned in regulation 42ZCP.
(2)
The Minister must terminate an appointed member’s appointment if:
(a)
the member is convicted of an offence punishable by imprisonment for at least 1 year; or
(b)
if the member is absent without leave of absence from 3 consecutive meetings of the Committee.
