136 Claim for release of seized goods
(1)
The designated owner may make a claim to the Comptroller‑General of Customs for the release of seized goods.
Note:
For designated owner and seized goods see section 6.
(2)
The claim must be made before the end of the claim period for the goods.
Note:
For claim period see section 6.
(3)
The claim must contain the information prescribed by the regulations.
Note:
Sections 137.1 and 137.2 of the Criminal Code create offences for providing false or misleading information or documents.
