86 Privileges, protections and immunities of participants in NZ market proceedings

(1)

A Judge of the High Court of New Zealand has, at a sitting in Australia of the High Court in an NZ market proceeding, the same privileges, protections and immunities as a Judge of the Federal Court.

(2)

A person appearing as a barrister, solicitor, or both, in an NZ market proceeding has, at a sitting in Australia of the High Court of New Zealand, the same protections and immunities as a barrister appearing for a party in a proceeding in the Federal Court.

(3)

A party to an NZ market proceeding has, at a sitting in Australia of the High Court of New Zealand, the same protections and immunities as a party in a proceeding in the Federal Court.

(4)

A person appearing as a witness in an NZ market proceeding has, at a sitting in Australia of the High Court of New Zealand, the same protection as a witness in a proceeding in the Federal Court.
