24 Permits are subject to conditions

(1)

A permit granted under section 23 is subject to the following conditions:

(a)

the conditions set out in subsection (2);

(b)

the conditions (if any) imposed by the Minister for the purposes of this paragraph;

(c)

the conditions (if any) specified in the Underwater Cultural Heritage Rules for the purposes of this paragraph.

(2)

For the purposes of paragraph (1)(a), the conditions are as follows:

(a)

if a permit holder (the transferor) transfers a permit to another person, the transferor must notify the Minister of that fact by giving the Minister notice in the approved form within 14 days after the transfer;

(b)

the permit holder must return the permit to the Department within 14 days of the expiration, revocation or suspension of the permit;

(c)

if the Minister decides to vary a permit under subsection 25(1) or (2), the permit holder must return the permit as in force before the variation to the Department within 14 days after the day specified in the notice given under paragraph 25(4)(a).

(3)

Paragraphs (2)(b) and (c) do not apply to a permit that is granted by electronic means.
