58AB Time for prosecuting offences

(1)

Subject to subsection (2), proceedings for an offence against section 58 may be commenced at any time within 3 years after the commission of the offence.

(2)

Proceedings for an offence against subsection (1) or (2) may be commenced at any time within 5 years after the commission of the offence.

(3)

An offence against this Act shall not be prosecuted without the written consent of the Minister, the Secretary, the Director of Public Prosecutions or a person authorised in writing by the Secretary or the Director of Public Prosecutions to consent to prosecutions for offences against this Act.
