85 Regulations
The regulations may provide for matters that are necessary or convenient to be provided for in relation to claims for payments under section 83.
Without limiting subsection (1), the regulations made for the purposes of that subsection may provide for:
how a person is to make a claim under section 83; and
the time within which the person may make the claim; and
the information that the person making a claim must provide in support of the claim; and
the procedure to be followed in dealing with the claim; and
the method to be used to calculate the change in market value of a water access entitlement in relation to which the claim is made; and
the procedure for applying for, and making, determinations under paragraph 83(2)(b).
Without limiting subsection (1), the regulations made for the purposes of that subsection may require a Basin State, an agency of a Basin State or another person, to give the Commonwealth, the Authority or another agency of the Commonwealth information for the purposes of dealing with a claim made under section 83.
The regulations may make provision in relation to the application of the provisions of the National Water Initiative for the purposes of this Subdivision.
