19 Identity card (Act s 46)
For paragraph 46(2)(a) of the Act, an identity card issued to a WELS inspector must include, on the side that bears the inspector’s photograph:
the name of the Act; and
the inspector’s name; and
the dates of issue and expiry of the card; and
a statement that the person is a WELS inspector; and
the name, position and signature of the person who issued the card.
An identity card for a WELS inspector must contain a recent photograph of the inspector: see paragraph 46(2)(b) of the Act.
The reverse side of the card must include a statement to the effect that it is an offence for a person who ceases to be an inspector to fail to return the card to the Regulator.
