Agricultural Tenancies Act 1990

Any document required or permitted to be served on a person for the purposes of this Act or the regulations may be served—

by delivering the document to that person, or

by leaving the document at the last known place of residence or business of that person, or

by sending the document by post, with the postage prepaid, in an envelope addressed to that person at the usual or last known place of residence or business of that person, or

by email to an email address specified by the person for the service of documents of that kind, or

by any other method authorised by the regulations for the service of documents of that kind.

Service on an Australian legal practitioner, or an agent, currently acting for a person is also sufficient.

Nothing in this section precludes the use of any other means of service provided by or under the Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 2013 or any other law or by agreement between the parties.
