11 Keeping of records of applications by independent researchers—the Act, s 25C(3)
For the purposes of the records of applications by independent researchers required to be kept by accredited research establishments under the Act, section 25C—
the prescribed period is 7 years after the application is made, and
the prescribed particulars are as follows—
the applicant’s full name, postal address, email address and contact telephone and facsimile numbers, if any,
the location of all premises used to hold animals for use in the research,
the types of animals held,
the name and identifying number of the research project concerned,
the species of animals used by the applicant for research,
the type of research being conducted by the applicant,
whether the research was approved, approved subject to conditions or not approved by the ethics committee of the accredited research establishment.
