22 Application to registration of Licensing and Registration (Uniform Procedures) Act 2002

(1)

For the purposes of this Act, the Board may grant—

(a)

full registration under section 17, or

(b)

temporary registration under section 18.

(2)

Part 3 (other than section 39) of the Licensing and Registration (Uniform Procedures) Act 2002 (the applied Act) applies to and in respect of both full registration and temporary registration under this Act, subject to the modifications and limitations prescribed by this Act or the regulations.

Note—

See clause 3 of Schedule 3, which temporarily suspends the provisions of the applied Act in relation to the making of applications by way of electronic communication.

(3)

For the purposes of applying Part 3 of the applied Act to full registration and temporary registration under this Act—

(a)

(Repealed)

(b)

registration may be amended under that Act, and

(c)

the requirement of section 54 of that Act for a registration administration fee to be paid to the relevant registration authority within 14 days after each anniversary of the date on which the relevant certificate of registration was issued is to be read as a requirement for the approved fee for annual registration to be so paid on or before 31 March in each year.

(4)

Subject to this Act, the regulations may make provision for or with respect to such matters concerning full registration and temporary registration under this Act as are relevant to the operation of Part 3 of the applied Act.
