25 Register of architects

(1)

The Registrar is to establish and maintain a register of architects for the purposes of this Act, and for the purposes of Part 3 of the Licensing and Registration (Uniform Procedures) Act 2002, as applied by this Act.

(2)

Without limiting subsection (1), the Register is to include the particulars of nominated architects.

(3)

The Registrar is to ensure that the Register is made available to the public, free of charge, at the Board’s offices during ordinary office hours.

(4)

The Board may authorise the Registrar to share information (including names and addresses) contained in the Register with neighbouring jurisdictions for the purpose of establishing a common register of architects among the jurisdictions.

(5)

The regulations may make provision with respect to—

(a)

the particulars to be recorded in the Register, and

(b)

the manner and form in which the Register is to be maintained.
