78 How notice is to be given

(1)

A requirement under this Act that a person be given notice is a requirement that the person be given notice—

(a)

personally or by post, or

(b)

by email to an email address specified by the person for the service of notices of that kind, or

(c)

by any other method authorised by the regulations for the service of notices of that kind.

(2)

For the purposes of section 76 of the Interpretation Act 1987, a notice served by post on a person for the purposes of this Act is to be treated as being properly addressed if it is addressed to the address of the person last known to the Registrar or last recorded in the Register.
