11 Notice of application to oversight commissioner
The Commissioner of Police must ensure the oversight commissioner is given a notice containing the information set out in—
an application for a dedicated encrypted criminal communication device prohibition order, and
the document that accompanies the application.
The notice must be given as far in advance of the application being made as is reasonably practicable.
After deciding the application, the authorised judge must ensure that the application and accompanying document are forwarded to the oversight commissioner.
The oversight commissioner must keep the application and accompanying document in a way that ensures they are not accessible to anyone who is not authorised to have access to them.
