14 Vacation of position
A permanent employee shall be deemed to have vacated his or her position if—
(a)
the employee dies,
(b)
the employee resigns the position by instrument in writing addressed to the Secretary and the Secretary accepts the resignation,
(c)
the employee retires or is retired,
(d)
the employee is dismissed under this Act,
(e)
the employee’s appointment is annulled under this Act, or
(f)
the employee’s services are dispensed with as referred to in this Act.
