153 Extensions of time
(cf section 106 EFED Act)
(1)
The Electoral Commission may, in any particular case, extend the time for doing anything under this Act, if it is satisfied that proper reasons exist justifying the extension.
(2)
This section has effect—
(a)
despite any other provision of this Act (other than section 60), and
(b)
whether or not the time for doing the thing under the provision has expired.
