82 Public access to claims and related documents

The Electoral Commission must keep a copy of each claim made for a payment under this Part lodged with the Electoral Commission, together with any documents relating to the assessment of the claim by the Electoral Commission, for at least 6 years after the election day for the election to which it or they relate.
The Electoral Commission—
must publish a copy of any claim referred to in subsection (1) on its website, and
may, on application, provide copies of or extracts from any other document relating to the assessment of such a claim by the Electoral Commission for public inspection.
