97BA Greenhouse gas benchmarks to apply to benchmark participants
(1)
A greenhouse gas benchmark for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions applies, in accordance with this Part, the regulations and the greenhouse gas benchmark rules, to each benchmark participant.
(2)
The greenhouse gas benchmark for a benchmark participant is to be calculated in accordance with this Part, the regulations and the greenhouse gas benchmark rules.
Note.
Failure to comply with a greenhouse gas benchmark will result in a greenhouse penalty being payable (see Division 3).
