First Home Owner Grant and Shared Equity Act 2000

A person who is an applicant or former applicant for a first home owner grant who is dissatisfied with any of the following decisions of the Chief Commissioner may make an objection under this Part—

a decision on the person’s application, including a decision to vary or reverse an earlier decision made independently of an objection under this Act,

a decision to require the person to repay an amount under section 45,

a decision to require the person to pay a penalty under section 45.

A person who is dissatisfied with a decision of the Chief Commissioner to require the person, instead of a grant recipient, to pay a recoverable amount under section 46A may make an objection under this Part.
