95 Proceedings for offences
Proceedings for an offence under this Act or the regulations may be dealt with—
summarily before the Local Court, or
by the Supreme Court in its summary jurisdiction.
If proceedings are brought before the Local Court, the maximum pecuniary penalty that the court may impose for the offence is, despite any other provision of this Act, 200 penalty units.
Despite the Criminal Procedure Act 1986 or any other Act, proceedings for an offence under this Act or the regulations may be commenced not later than 2 years after the date on which the offence is alleged to have been committed.
