9 Applications
(1)
An application for a guardianship order in respect of a person may be made to the Tribunal—
(a)
by the person,
(b)
(Repealed)
(c)
by the Public Guardian, or
(d)
by any other person who, in the opinion of the Tribunal, has a genuine concern for the welfare of the person.
(2)
An application may not be made in respect of a person who is under the age of 16 years.
(3)
An application shall specify the grounds on which it is alleged that the person is a person in need of a guardian.
