2 Vacation of office
The office of a member of HRICG becomes vacant if the member—
dies, or
resigns the office by instrument in writing addressed to HRNSW and HRICG, or
is absent from 2 consecutive meetings of HRICG of which reasonable notice has been given to the member personally or in the ordinary course of post, except on leave granted by HRICG or unless, before the expiration of 4 weeks after the last of those meetings, the member is excused by HRICG for having been absent from those meetings, or
becomes a person who is not eligible to be a member, or
is a member on the nomination of a body and that nomination is withdrawn by the body or the body ceases to exist, or
is removed from office under subclause (2).
The Minister may, on the recommendation of HRICG, remove a member of HRICG from office for incapacity, incompetence or misbehaviour.
