77 Pending proceedings before courts
(1)
A court may, on and from the commencement day, continue to deal with pending proceedings until they are concluded.
(2)
For this purpose—
(a)
the court continues to have and may exercise all the functions the court had in relation to the proceedings immediately before the commencement day, and
(b)
the provisions of an Act, statutory rule or other law that would have applied to or in relation to the proceedings had the amending Act not been enacted continue to apply.
