Law Enforcement Conduct Commission Act 2016

Division 4 of Part 5 of the Law Enforcement (Powers and Responsibilities) Act 2002 applies to a search warrant issued under this Act.

Division 4 of Part 5 of the Law Enforcement (Powers and Responsibilities) Act 2002 so applies as if references in that Division to an eligible issuing officer to whom an application for a search warrant is made or by whom a search warrant is issued included (where relevant) references to a Commissioner, where such an application is made to a Commissioner or a search warrant is issued by a Commissioner.

Part 15 of the Law Enforcement (Powers and Responsibilities) Act 2002 applies to the exercise of powers under this Part of a kind described in section 201 of that Act by an authorised officer as if any reference to a police officer in that Part were a reference to the authorised officer.
