Liverpool Local Environmental Plan 2008

The objectives of this clause are as follows—

to establish a minimum lot size for dual occupancies in Zone R2,

to achieve planned residential density in Zone R2,

to ensure lots are large enough to accommodate dual occupancies in a way that provides a high level of residential amenity,

to minimise any adverse impacts of development on the amenity of the area.

This clause applies to land in Zone R2 Low Density Residential.

Development consent must not be granted to the erection of dual occupancies unless the development is on a lot that is at least—

for development on land identified on the Lot Size for Dual Occupancy Development Map—the minimum lot size shown on the map in relation to the land, or

for other development—600m².
