Relationship with Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997

This Division is to be construed with, and as if it formed part of, the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997.

(2)

However, unless otherwise specified, in this Division—

(a)

references to provisions are references to provisions of this Act, and

(b)

references to this Act are references to the Major Events Act 2009.

(3)

In the event of an inconsistency between this Division and the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997, this Division prevails to the extent of the inconsistency.
