9 Management of authorities
(1)
The affairs of a major event authority are to be managed and controlled by—
(a)
if the authority is a chief executive governed authority—the chief executive of the authority, or
(b)
if the authority is a board governed authority—the chief executive, subject to and in accordance with any directions given to the chief executive by the board of the authority.
(2)
A major event authority is subject to the control and direction of the Minister in the exercise of its functions.
