148 Conduct of arbitration
(1)
The parties to an arbitration must participate in the arbitration in good faith.
(1A)
An arbitrator may terminate an arbitration at any time at the request of the parties.
(2)
An arbitrator must act according to equity, good conscience and the substantial merits of the case without regard to technicalities or legal forms.
(3)
An arbitrator may conduct a hearing even though one or more of the parties to the hearing fails to attend the hearing.
