Application for granting of mineral claim

In force

(1)

Any person may apply for a mineral claim.

(2)

An application must—

(a)

be lodged with the Secretary, and

(b)

include the information, if any, prescribed by the regulations, and

(c)

be accompanied by the application fee prescribed by the regulations.

(3)

An application for a mineral claim may not be lodged with respect to land over which the lodging of such an application is prohibited by an order in force under section 173A (1).
