248S Offences
A person who, without lawful excuse, neglects or fails to comply with a requirement made of the person under this Part is guilty of an offence.
A person who wilfully delays or obstructs an inspector in the exercise of the inspector’s powers under this Part is guilty of an offence.
A person who impersonates an inspector is guilty of an offence.
Maximum penalty—
in the case of a corporation—10,000 penalty units, and, in the case of a continuing offence, a further penalty of 1,000 penalty units for each day that the offence continues, or
in the case of a natural person—2,000 penalty units, and, in the case of a continuing offence, a further penalty of 200 penalty units for each day that the offence continues.
