44 Application of other laws
(1)
This Part applies despite another Act or law.
(2)
Without limiting subsection (1), if a provision in this Part provides for a period during which a thing or matter must be done, the provision applies despite a provision of another Act or law that provides for a period during which the thing or matter must be done.
