Appeals against compliance notices

Current

(1)

A person served with a compliance notice may appeal to the Court against the notice.

(2)

The person must lodge an appeal within 21 days, or another period prescribed by the regulations, after being served with the notice.

(3)

The lodging of an appeal does not, except to the extent the Court otherwise directs in relation to the appeal, operate to stay the notice appealed against.

(4)

There is no appeal against a decision of the regulator to extend the time for complying with a compliance notice.
