Cancellation of licence without notice

Current

(1)

The Secretary may cancel the licence for a private health facility (including a licence that is suspended) without holding an inquiry or giving any notice to the licensee—

(a)

if the licensee requests the Secretary in writing to cancel the licence, or

(b)

if the premises to which the licence relates have ceased to be a facility of a class in respect of which the licence was issued.

(2)

The Secretary may, as he or she thinks fit, notify any person of a decision to cancel a licence under this section.
