Transport of radioactive substances

In force

A person must not cause a radioactive substance to be transported other than in accordance with—

(a)

the Code for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Material, published by the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency, as in force from time to time, or

(b)

if the code is replaced by another code—the other code, as in force from time to time.

Maximum penalty—

(a)

for an individual—250 penalty units, or

(b)

otherwise—1,500 penalty units.
