12 Regional Development Advisory Council
The Minister must establish a Regional Development Advisory Council.
The members of the Advisory Council are to be appointed by the Minister in accordance with the regulations.
The regulations may make provision for or with respect to the membership and procedure of the Advisory Council.
The Advisory Council has the following functions—
to advise the Minister on any matter that is referred to it by the Minister,
to advise the Minister on any other matter it considers relevant to the object of this Act.
In exercising the Minister’s functions under this Act, the Minister must consider any advice provided by the Advisory Council under section 12(4).
