3.52 Development for purposes of campus student accommodation
Despite section 3.51(2), development for the purposes of campus student accommodation may be carried out by a person with development consent on land within the boundaries of the TAFE establishment.
Development consent must not be granted if the development involves the subdivision of land.
Development consent must not be granted unless the consent authority has considered the design quality of the development, evaluated in accordance with the design quality principles set out in Schedule 8.
For the purposes of subsection (3), a reference in Schedule 8 to a school is taken to include a reference to campus student accommodation.
