The amendment made to section 37A by the amending Act does not apply to the calculation of a benefit payable to a contributor who became entitled to the benefit before the commencement of that amendment. Section 37A, as in force immediately before the commencement of that amendment, continues to apply in respect of such a calculation.

The amendments made to section 38A by the amending Act do not apply to the calculation of any amount payable to a contributor who became entitled to the amount before the commencement of the amendments. Section 38A, as in force immediately before the commencement of those amendments, continues to apply in respect of such a calculation.
