Transport Administration Act 1988

The regulations may make provision for or with respect to the bus and ferry services provided by the State Transit Authority.

In particular, the regulations may make provision for or with respect to—

the terms and conditions on which passengers are carried, and

the use of and access to facilities or property owned by or under the control of the State Transit Authority, and

the protection and preservation of facilities or property owned by or under the control of the State Transit Authority, and

security, safety and order on buses and ferries, and

the sale or other disposal of unclaimed goods and luggage in the possession of the State Transit Authority and the disposal of the proceeds of any such sale, and

the standing or parking of vehicles on land vested in the State Transit Authority.
