3 Objects of Act
The objects of this Act are—
(a)
to prohibit mining for uranium, and
(b)
to prohibit the construction or operation of nuclear reactors and other facilities in the nuclear fuel cycle,
in order to protect the health, safety and welfare of the people of New South Wales and the environment in which they live.
