7 Ongoing counselling services for victims of child sexual assault or physical abuse
Despite any provision of clause 5 to the contrary, the Scheme Executive may authorise payments for approved counselling services on an ongoing basis for—
(a)
a person under the age of 18 years who is a victim of sexual assault or physical abuse, or
(b)
a person who, while under the age of 18 years, was a victim of sexual assault or physical abuse.
