2 Definition of wages
(1)
An amendment made by the 2002 compliance amendments to the definition of wages in section 174 (9)—
(a)
does not apply to wages paid before the commencement of the amendment, and
(b)
does not apply in respect of a policy of insurance issued or renewed before the commencement of the amendment.
(2)
Paragraphs (b1) and (b2) of the definition of wages in section 174 (9) extend to payments that relate to leave that accrued before the commencement of those paragraphs.
