20 Return of identity card
(1)
A person who ceases to be a fire control officer must return the person's identity card to the Minister within 21 days after the cessation.
Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.
(2)
An offence against subsection (1) is an offence of strict liability.
(3)
It is a defence to a prosecution for an offence against subsection (1) if the person has a reasonable excuse.
